Largest Sephora Haul Yet featuring CoverFX and Urban Decay

Published on: by // 9 Comments »

I had really debated about putting up this haul because I don’t want to look like I’m showing off. This is by far the largest Sephora haul I’ve ever made, and judging by my recent spending patterns and Visa bills, I know a shopping ban is in the horizon. Please don’t judge my spending by this haul; if it wasn’t for the discounts and gift cards I had, I would not have purchased these. My sister persuaded me to put up this haul in case someone lives a Sephora which carries some of these sale items and might miss out on these discounts. So if you do have a Sephora nearby, make sure to check out their sale aisles or brands marked with SALE!

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the exact sale price and I don’t have the receipt anymore. My Sephora account doesn’t show all the products I purchased because I don’t think Sephora online carries many of the CoverFX products. I can only show you the retail price based on the CoverFX, Urban Decay website or Sephora’s price list.

During my boxing day trip to Buffalo, I dropped by Sephora inside JC Penney instead of the Sephora freestanding store where I scored some major deals. Much of the products I hauled are from CoverFX which is one of my favourite brands when it comes to combining skincare into the formulation of their cosmetic range. I believe CoverFX is re-releasing their products with a newer packaging and different shade/naming convention, and that could be one of the reasons that many of the products were on sale.

I’ve purchased several products from CoverFX before but this is the first time I’ve repurchased anything because they are quite expensive to purchase on a regular basis. Items denoted with a * means they came in a kit.

CoverFX Product List

Aside from the CoverFX items I purchased, I also bought the following:

Total retail value of items purchased: $576 + 8% tax = $622.08

I had a 10% VIB discount, and several gift cards/store credits leftover. I ended up paying $78.91 (based on my Visa bill statement) for the entire haul.

I also received several extra samples, and the lady there (Dacia, I did your store survey!) was kind enough to give me three gift boxes, and tons of Sephora ribbons/Snowflake gift tag just in case I plan on re-gifting any of the items.

If you have a Sephora nearby, do check out what they have on sale! Thanks for reading this far, and I hope this post helps you out in case you were planning to purchase any of these items. I also have reviews for some of the products lined up in the next couple of months!

$622 to $78??? That’s amazing! O__O I’ve never tried CoverFX’s products, but I’ll look into them once they come out with their new packaging (I’m a sucker for pretty/cute packaging). Would love to read your reviews on the products!

Thanks Jenny! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a company that mix skincare into the formulation of their makeup (and very effective at it too!) Will definitely try to get some reviews up soon :)

I definitely agree! I love CoverFX, but they’re generally so pricey to get in Canada! I got lucky this time around :)
